In Person Class & Parent Taught In-Car

This “blended” training program is designed for parents favoring traditional classroom training and searching for a “less expensive” method to satisfy state of Texas driver education requirements for the in-car training.

Parents Will Provide

•  7 in-car driving &; observation training hours

  (required for final certificate)

•  24 in-car practice driving hours (30 hour log)

School Will Provide:

• 24 class hours (including learners permit)

•  6 credit hours of in-car instruction (30 hour log)

•  Scheduling of your visit to San Marcos DPS to

  obtain the Texas learner’s permit.

•  Scheduling of your visit to San Marcos DPS for

  the DPS driver license road test

•  Parent Orientation

•  Parents a Taught State Application

•  In-Car (flash drive) of our state approved

  parent resource guide with teaching techniques

  and driving strategies.

•  CURB BUSTERS 1 st GEAR, parent taught resource guide
