Parent Taught In Car Only

Designed for students who have completed all classroom requirements and are in possession of their currently valid Texas learners permit.

Parents:

• Will submit a PTDE application to TDLR the regulatory agency accompanied with a $20 payment

• Will providethe state required 7 in-car driving hoursfor the final completion certificate

• Will provide 30 in-car practice hours.

Driving By Laws:

•  Will schedule and confirm your visit for the driver license road test @ San Marcos DPS.

•  Will provide (flash drive) of our state approved, parent resource guide with teaching techniques/driving strategies

•  Will provide the Drive Right parent in-car training techniques

•  Will provide, 1st GEAR parent taught in-car resource guide

•  Will provide 3D animated driving videos & PDF resources

•  Will provide 6 hours of traffic safety videos.

•  Will provide state issued, 30 documentation log

•  Will provide the final certificate upon completion
